Thank you to all of the Crockett and Port Costa community members that came out to talk about Envision Contra Costa 2040 on March 28th! With nearly 50 people, we had a great turn out and wide-ranging conversations. Among many other topics, some of the key themes that emerged as shared concerns were:

• Waterfront access.
• Zoning that matches the unique historic character of these communities.
• Downtown revitalization, including easier permitting for local businesses.
• Parking.
• Refinery impacts.

This is just the first meeting, stay tuned for more chances to give input throughout the general planning process!
